A collection of Nordic-inspired houses designed by architect Joaquim Portela.
Their design was based on the courtyard concept, with a clear focus on sustainable materials such as wood, glass and recycled concrete. The houses have geothermal heating systems and home automation technology, among other features.
The location chosen for this project of 9 townhouses and 5 single houses was Gulpilhares, in Vila Nova de Gaia, in an area that promotes peace, silence and proximity to the sea.
The social area, comprising the living room, dining room and kitchen, is open-plan. The private area has three bedrooms facing the garden.
The house can be entered in two ways - through the main entrance or via the garage.
The finishes are of a superior standard, some of which can be customized or designed by the architect (as is the case with the kitchens).
Pre-energy certification: A+
