ALFAMA

Alfama is one of Lisbon's oldest and most picturesque neighborhoods. It is located between São Jorge Castle and the banks of the Tejo. Alfama is within walking distance of the main business centers of the new Lisbon. It is easily accessible by public transport, including the iconic yellow streetcars that run along the city's steep streets.
